This place is right in the center of town, so it’s easy to get to. We had the doner kebab, spice box, and a milkshake. The milkshake was actually pretty good, the kebab was alright, but the spice box didn’t really live up to the hype. Overall, it was an okay experience.
I’m only in Kildare 6 years and have tried every chipper from newbridge to portarlington. I always come back to Macari’s Kildare town (both) The staff are so nice and the food is always soooo nice. I will continue to be a loyal customer of these guys
Ment to be a mixed meat snackpack not one bit of donor in it 4 peices of chicken ,rang back to say it to them ,said I won’t be ordering from here again and the person on the phone hung up no respect for the customers at all ,21.70€ this costed me
great service used this place a few times now and i cant fault it. Got a delivery last night and i have to say it was the best fresh cod and chips ive had in ages. staff were very polite and helpful. Pity they dont offer any deserts, only downside.

Went in today to Macaris. Ordered three chicken filet burgers. Very disappointed. Absolutely nothing on them. Not a sauce, onions, lettuce. Nothing whatsoever on them. Surprised that they even put the fillets on them. For €19.80. Daylight robbery.
RESPECT TO MACARIS!!! They kindly replied back to me this morning in regards to my review. They were very helpful and offered a refund or a new order. It was a confusion and have duly noted the issue. Thank you customer service service for dealing with this promptly. Will definitely be back.
Hello Brigid, we apologise for your recent experience with us. Our fresh chicken fillet burgers come with lettuce and mayonnaise unless asked for differently. If this was not the case we are very sorry and would be happy to replace them for you. We can only assume this was human
error. The price however we can not apologies for. This is beyond our control. Only of recent we had another price increase from our supplier and have not passed anything to our customers. Please call the store 3pm. and ask for Marioush He will be y to assist you. Sorry for the Inconvenience again.
